VENTURE FINANCING
China-based AR company RayNeo has secured $143m (RMB 1B) in funding from Unicom Capital and China Mobile. The investment will be allocated toward R&D, with a focus on optical modules, spatial computing hardware, and AI model development. Founded in 2021 and incubated by China-based electronics giant TCL (SZ: 000100), RayNeo specializes in AI-augmented AR eyewear for consumer applications. The company recently unveiled a new prototype, RayNeo X3 Pro — Project eSIM with 4G connectivity.
China-based AR hardware company Xreal has raised $100m from undisclosed supply chain partners and other investors at a valuation exceeding $1B. The funds will support the company’s continued product development and scaling efforts. Xreal develops lightweight AR smart glasses that overlay digital content onto the real world, featuring high-resolution displays, a wide field of view, and spatial computing capabilities. The company’s products also support immersive gaming experiences through spatial displays that integrate interactive digital content into real-world environments. Alongside the funding announcement, Xreal unveiled two new AR glasses models.
South Korea–based mobile game startup Peb has secured $750k (KRW 1B) in a Seed funding round from CRIT Ventures. The investment will support the global rollout of the studio’s debut title, Dig & Roll — a mobile social casino game — as well as fund the development of sequels and expand the company’s publishing capabilities through strategic workforce growth. Founded in 2025, Peb is a hybrid-casual mobile game developer.
Türkiye-based mobile games developer Loom Games has secured undisclosed seven-figure Seed funding from Arcadia Gaming Partners and e2vc. The investment will support the development and scaling of the company’s debut title, Pixel Flow. Pixel Flow is a mobile hybrid-casual puzzle game that launched in Aug’25 and, according to AppMagic, has generated $14.5m in lifetime IAP revenue and reached 10 million downloads.
Saudi Arabia-based government-backed project NEOM has invested in five gaming studios through its Level Up gaming accelerator. The selected participants include Saudi Arabia-based PC & Console developer Fourcast Studio, UGC-focused developer Makera, games developer Off Box Studios, mobile consumer games developer Phys, and games developer Aiqona Productions. In addition to the funded cohort, a further 18 studios will participate in the accelerator’s mentorship phase. Participating studios will receive funding, mentorship support, and access to NEOM’s global network of publishing partners.
