Global Top Round

Global Top Round, a subsidiary of GXC, is a global game startup accelerator whose mission is to support small studios from all over the world with development, publishing and fundraising. Since 2015 Global Top Round has supported over 65 game studios worldwide via their GTR Accelerator program, which sees 10 new games added  every year.

Global Top Round works with a worldwide network of Publishers (Ubisoft, 505 Games, Focus Entertainment, Gamigo, NetEase, Curve Games, Deep Silver amongst others) and Investors (NCsoft, Korea Investment Partners, Line Games, amongst others).

Pontus Mähler Vice President, over 10 years of experience in the gaming industry and having invested and managed 50+ investments in games, he currently manages over 65 portfolio companies and leads Investor & Publishing relations for Global Top Round;
Jacques Benchetrit Head of M&A / Fundraising, worked in investment banking at HSBC and boutique M&A at Houlihan Lokey before joining Zordix as M&A Manager in Stockholm, where he led the acquisition of Merge Games and Maximum Games; recognizing a need for advisory services in the video gaming industry, he joined Global Top Round as Head of M&A / Fundraising;
Max Kübler Director of Portfolio, starting as a Producer for Deck 13 in 2010 and working his way up to become a Senior Producer on titles such as “Lords of the Fallen” and “The Surge”, Max spent over 10 years in the gaming industry, with his final years at Deck 13 serving as Business Development Manager before moving on to become the Head of Publishing at Crunching Koalas;
Jan Halwe Head of Publisher Relations, a veteran within the industry with more than 8 years of Business Development experience, closed multiple publishing deals for Gamigo, ranging up to 7 figure project investments, and as Head of Publisher Relations for GTR he brings a wealth of experience and a keen sense of what makes a game fit the needs and wants of prospective partners and publishers, having previously held the positions of Head of Licensing and Game Evaluation Manager at gamigo.
