UK-based investment initiative Creative Wales has provided $775k (£580k) to 12 gaming studios through its Games Development Fund, including UK-based multiplatform games developer Rarebit Studios and XR gaming company Sugar Creative. The studios received between $13.4k and $66.8k each. The funding aims to support local Wales-based developers. Rarebit Studios will use the funds to expand the team and launch the Solitaire.io project. Sugar Creative will use the funds to accelerate development of an immersive storytelling project. The initiative previously provided $1.2m (£850k) to six developers in Jun’25.

US-based app analytics firm Sensor Tower has received an undisclosed strategic investment from Shinhan Securities. The funding will support the company’s product development in web and Gen AI datasets. According to the company, Sensor Tower’s revenue has grown at a compound annual rate of 60% over the past five years. Shinhan Securities joins existing investors — Riverwood Capital, Paramark Ventures, and Bain Capital Credit — as Sensor Tower advances its cross-platform expansion strategy.
