SALARY & SATISFACTION SURVEY 2024/25
© Skillsearch and www.skillsearch.com , 2025
This year marks the 11th annual Games & Interactive Salary & Satisfaction
Survey!
For over a decade, we’ve been gathering insights from the t alented people
across the games and interactive industries, tracking salaries , workplace
trends, and the key issues shaping the sector. Every year, we evolve the
survey to reflect the changing landscape, and this year is no exception.
For the first time, we’ve introduced dedicated sections from UKIE and Safe
In Our World, alongside new deep dives into design, the MENA re gion, and
the people behind the hires. We’ve also explored the path t o a gaming
career, offering a closer look at how professionals break into the ind ustry,
as well as an XR section that provides an insight into the im mersive tech
space.
We’re committed to using these insights to support both job s eekers and
studios, providing the most relevant and up-to-date information p ossible.
As always, we’re open to your feedback. if there are specif ic areas or job
titles you’d like us to explore in future reports, let us know!
A huge thank you to everyone who completed this year’s survey or helped
spread the word. We hope you find this year’s report i nsightful. If you have
any questions or suggestions, we’d love to hear from you.
