? Product
Restream has developed a multistreaming service, that allows broadcasting streams onto several platforms, such as Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook at the same time
Restream mainly focuses on gamers and gaming companies, however, more individuals and content creators outside the industry start to actively use the platform
The service is similar in function to OBS and Xsplit, however, it doesn’t require any prerequisite knowledge and seeks to more simplified user experience
Restream serves over 2 million streamers and businesses, has over 8 million streams and 600 million active viewers every month. More than that, since January 2020 the platform has grown over 300%
Restream Studio adds many functions to the streams, however most of them are locked behind the paid tiers:
add graphics and other visual elements
upload and play local video files
add custom overlays, backgrounds, and logos
chat management
extracting parts of the stream
analytics management
For free, users can use the basic streaming to approved platforms, though the broadcast will include Restream watermark
Lowest tier for individual use costs $19/month, with Restream Live Studio Pro asking $49. For businesses, the service will cost $99
