• California-based augmented reality (AR) developer and designer Tilt Five has raised $7.5m in series A funding round. SIP Global Partners led the round, with participation from BITKRAFT, Galaxy Interactive, Logitech International, and Ken Birdwell

• Tilt Five will use the proceeds on the further development of the company’s AR hardware and incentivizing third-party game developers, such as Tabletopia, HappyGiant, Niffler, PlayStack, Beatshapers, Playito, Monocle Society, Deck13, GFX47, and Battle Map Studio

• In October 2019, the company gained $1.7m through the Kickstarter campaign

• To date, Tilt Five has raised $9.2m

?  Product

• Tilt Five is focused on creating AR sets, comprising of a pair of AR glasses, a game board, and a wand controller, for tabletop games

• Currently, the kit is available for pre-order and is expected to start shipping in April 2021

• Tilt Five currently supports Windows 10 and Android, but other platforms will be added as well with the consumer launch
