Istanbul-based mobile game developer Bigger Games has raised $6m in a Seed funding round led by Index Ventures, with participation from Play Ventures, David Helgason (founder of Unity), and Stephane Kurgan (former COO of King)
Index Ventures’ principal Sofia Dolfe will also join Bigger Games board
The company will use the proceeds to support the development of new games and further expand its team, especially in the marketing area

Bigger Games has developed four casual puzzle titles for mobile platforms: Hollo Ball, Rope Rescue!, Hoop Stack, and Color Rope. The games have over 75 million downloads combined, according to Bigger Games web-site
Bigger Games has published three of its games independently, while Rope Rescue! was published by Coda Platform Limited
Games published by Bigger Games have seen its peak traffic in March 2020, reaching almost 5 million downloads. After that, the download number has been gradually declining, reaching 1 million in November 2020. Currently, about 90% of downloads are generated by Hoop Stack game
