Paris-based mobile social betting platform BetOnYou has raised $1.48m in a Seed Round from angel investors Marc Menasé and Benjamin Gaignault d’Ornikar
With the new funding, the developer plans to increase the number of competitors in their matches. It also promises to to bring the multiplayer update by the end of the year and deliver major updates every three months
Right now, the app features ads, but there are long-term plans to remove advertisements in favor of optional micro-transactions for personal avatar customization

BetOnYou allows gamers to bet on their own in-game performance, using virtual currency. Players compete with each other and winner gets all the points, which could eventually be traded for real life prizes from BetOnYou partners
It is woth noting, that the app does not allow real money betting since its prohibited by French law
Available on all major platforms, BetOnYoy currently supports the following games: Fortnite, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Call of Duty Mobile, FIFA 20, Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG, Rocket League, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Apex Legends
Now, the platform supports only one-on-one matches, with new funding the company will move towards of team-based competitions
The app has been downloaded more than 220 thousand times with a peak of +47k downloads in June 2020. However, the last two month has shown a decrease in a numbers, with +23k downloads in August 2020.
