Toronto-based 3D animation software developer SideFX has received an undisclosed amount of investment from American video game giant Epic Games
President and CEO of SideFX Kim Davidson remains the majority owner of the company, while Epic Games becomes a minority investor of SideFX, alongside MMV Capital Partners
The companies will not share their intellectual property, which means there will be no impact on the development of SideFX’s main product Houdini
