  • Estonia-based VR company Wolf3D has raised $1.3m in its latest seed funding round. The list of investors includes Trind Ventures, Presto Ventures, Koha Capital, Spring Capital, Insta Ventures, Contriber Ventures and several angel investors

  • Till date, the company has raised $2.8m

  • New funding will help Wolf3D to expand its Ready Player Me avatar-creation software from browser to mobile

  • Wolf3D creates personal three-dimensional avatars for games and VR. Their most recent development Ready Player Me allows users to create a full-body avatar from a single selfie

  • Since games can be very different, the company supports different avatars art styles. Thanks to that, users can customize their avatars for various games and genres

  • Wolf3D makes its 3D scanning tech available for small and middle-sized developers. Some of the companies have received it for free

  • The company also partners with Stanford University Virtual Human Interaction Lab, that studies human representation in digital worlds
